topic YouTube videos do not play on FF in Discussions

When I finally step through Google's logons and get to YouTube to finish a video that played on my TV, I get a message to download one of several browsers, including FF. I already have FF latest version and have tunneled through Google to get to YouTube. It is frustrating and a waste of valuable time slugging through big internet/tech companies with big tech issues.
