Completely agree with this. Firefox used to be the gold standard for speed and privacy — now it feels like every update adds another layer of bloat. A browser that struggles to render YouTube on a 5900X setup is a serious performance problem, not a feature request issue.

The core issue is exactly what you said — priorities are backwards. Users want a fast, stable, private browser. Not AI menus, not sponsored shortcuts, not banners. Just a clean browsing experience.

Just like how people deserve straightforward tools without hidden complications, everyone should also have access to Legal Advice Basic — knowing your rights clearly, without unnecessary confusion.

I've been using Mozilla browsers since before Firefox's branch of development even existed, and I'm tired of watching every once-decent project slowly feature-creep into obscurity. Mozilla could easily reach more than 2.33% of users on the internet if it would stop constantly adding useless features to the browser. It is a seemingly weekly occurance now that I go to open Firefox, only to be appalled by some new button, banner, page, or useless AI slop menu that is obstructing me from doing the one thing I want to do with an internet browser - browse the internet.

Meanwhile, my 5900X/6900XT/32GB system routinely chokes on YouTube pages rendering.

This seems like the worst of both worlds. I know this is a harsh message but I wouldn't bother sending it if I didn't care about having some kind of choice in using the internet.

I know what you mean. At least user feedback resulted in options to turn off the AI stuff that many users do not like. My current personal gripe, is the many bugs in the Password Manager. I know that some are due to "site compatibility" issues, that affect the PW manager inner workings, BUT a good deal of those are "working in Chrome". There are currently around 794 active bugs for Toolkit -> Password Manager, with 233 placed in the Toolkit -> Site Compatibility section. This will NOT help FF get past the 2.33% user-base, with resources being moved to "new features', while actual BUG Fixes get slower and slower. I have a post about this on here, that seems to be stuck with the Moderators right now. If it does not become visible soon, I may have to contact Jon the manager.

Even for simple tasks like my aadhaar login, users need a fast, clean, and reliable browser experience.

5900X would have little to nothing to do with youtube performance capabilities. What is your video? Have you submitted a performance profile?
