I recently got access to smart window and while I like it so far, I have a major feature suggestion: I'd love to see Smart Window adding support for multiple AI models and switching between them without leaving the chat — here's what I have in mind:

1. Model switcher in the prompt field (immediate need)

Allow users to configure several AI models in Smart Window settings.

Add a small model-switcher button (e.g., a dropdown or icon) directly in the prompt input field.

Clicking it lets you instantly swap to a different model mid-conversation, without opening settings or starting a new session.

This is useful for quickly comparing outputs, using a lightweight model for quick lookups and a more capable one for deep research, etc.

2. Automatic model selection rules (future roadmap)

Allow users to define rules that automatically pick a model based on the prompt's content, context, or keywords.

Examples:

"Use Model A for anything related to code"

"Use Model B when the active tab is a news site"

"Default to Model C for general browsing questions"

Rules could be simple keyword/topic matches to start, with more advanced context-awareness over time.

Why this matters: Different models have different strengths. Having to reconfigure Smart Window in settings every time you want to switch is friction-heavy. A quick-switch button makes multi-model workflows practical for everyday browsing.
