Black background of the icon on Android

It would be great to choose between black and white background of the app icon on Android. Black background looks terrible among others app logos which forces me not to use the app at all. I noticed the similar idea on the topic from April I guess, but nothing seems to change. I would like to continue to use Firefox.

I get what you mean. Consistency in how app icons look on the home screen really does matter, and it can be distracting when one stands out in a way that doesn’t match the rest. Having the option to switch between a black or white background feels like a simple but valuable customization. It could make the app feel more polished and user-friendly.
