I wanted to update this because I have the same issue and it is annoying. Otherwise, is it possible that the default folder for the saved file is the original folder instead of the download folder (or whatever defaut setting you have)?

Thank you very much!

Another great feature for the PDF editor would be a button to save the file in the original folder from where you opened it with File Explorer. This would allow you to overwrite the original file. Currently, you have to click through to the original location yourself in order to overwrite it. Alternatively, you have to save it, then cut and paste it into the original folder to overwrite it. This is very time-consuming.
