Anti-Firefox FUD? Nothing burger?

Is there any truth to this? Or is it just re-hashed anti-Firefox FUD, fear-mongering?

Would love to see an official/employee/comms response to this ideally.

Would really love to see the Firefox team address this. I think it needs to be addressed.

On the Privacy Guides forum there continues to be a lot of wild speculation and confusion about the TOS and the privacy policy, and what Firefox does or doesn't collect and send to partners.

Really need to clarify this and clear it up. If not doubt will run wild.

It’s mostly noise. “FUD” around browsers pops up regularly, but unless there’s a clearly documented security issue or confirmed exploit, it’s usually overblown rather than something actionable. Firefox, like any major browser, has its ups and downs, but it’s still actively maintained and generally safe for everyday use.

From experience, it’s better to focus on verified updates and real vulnerabilities instead of reacting to hype. You see the same pattern in other industries too people jump to conclusions without solid facts, whether it’s tech or something like hiring a general contractor Baltimore where real expertise matters more than rumors.
