topic Firefox and YouTube, video resets at 0:00 infinitely. Too many processes running. in Discussions

I'm running Windows 10 (I REFUSE to be forced to 11) and Firefox on automatic updates.
I've been having problems with youtube connection intermittently for a while, but now it's suddenly gotten worse, with many videos resetting back to 0:00 in an infinite loop, so I never see any of the video.

It doesn't happen with any other browser.

I am also seeing that Firefox is leaving orphan processes open after all instances of Firefox are closed.

I can sometimes "fix" the problem temporarily by guessing which of the eleven or more Firefox processes that are open when I have only ONE Firefox instance open. Good luck with that gamble!

Firefox has had problems with orphaned processes for a LONG time, and this is even worse.

FIX IT. If it won't work I can't use it. I'd rather shoot myself in the foot than go Chrome but I just took off my shoe and bought a roll of gauze. Don't make me take the next (limping) step.
