It used to be that you would automatically notify me via pop-up when there was an update download and I could choose to download it at that time. If I chose to download it, you would shortly thereafter ask me via pop-up whether I wanted to install the new update. If I chose to have it installed, you would do that quickly and automatically restart Firefox, maintaining the windows I had opened. There was very little to do on my part and there was very little interruption to my PC work.

Now, I get a pop-up notice there is an update to download, but when I choose to download it, I never get a pop-up request from you to have you install it. I have to go to Help and request the update to be done and the install is cumbersome.

I'm thinking that you must have lost some good programmers and are now hiring brainless newbees who have no sense of continuity and are doing whatever they please.

Please go back to the old way of handling updates. I'm a former programmer analyst and then a principal systems consultant for Sybase (purchased by SAP of Germany), so I know that what I'm stating is true. I'm still on Windows 10.
