topic Thunderbird and Yahoo in Discussions

Hello,
While I was using thunderbird with my yahoo account, it suddenly asks me to log in again, but when I enter the email afterwards it doesn't ask for the password but instead gives me a qr code to scan with my phone. The yahoo app has no way to scan it and the link doesn't lead to anything I understand.
Has anyone encountered this problem and is there a solution to get my account back?
Thank you very much.
