The "tab manager enhancements" option doesn't seem to be present in every build of firefox for android - it's not in mine - so it's not exactly a solution to the problem of this awful ui redesign.

I think the reaction to the new mobile UI has been overwhelming negative. I've been a user of Firefox for many years and this layout of the toolbar / sidebar has made me actually create an account to provide feedback on how unfriendly the changes are.

Please provide an option to toggle between the previous UI and new UI. I just want the old one back. It worked, it wasn't broken and did not need to be fixed. Everything was reachable with just one thumb and maybe two clicks, all in the same space. Now the side bar opens in the bottom middle? Can you call it a side bar still 😂.

I used to love Firefox, but this is not a good look at all, and quite frankly the decision to make this change is highly questionable in the first place. There's a huge amount of improvements and new experiences you could make, but this took priority? Is this the future of Firefox? I hope not, I preferred this browser as it used to be sensible and functional. I do not like this direction and would prefer that future changes to the UI are kept optional.

Tldr: the title says it all

While I personally like the new look very much, I also agree that a simple way to change back to the old gui is necessary for now.

Ideally, they could prompt the user after the update asking if the user wants to try the new interface, and showing where the option to toggle it on or off are located

Current manual steps on how to change the interface to the old design can be found here: https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/discussions/some-hopefully-helpful-perspectives-on-problems-with-the-mobile/m-p/118864/highlight/true#M46495

Edit: fix typo

I haven't even gotten to the menus yet. Why does my address bar suddenly take up more vertical space? I don't have much of it to go around on a phone.

Even if we can't swap the entire new UI, at least let me make the address bar the same size it used to be. I'm considering switching browsers because of this.
