After I overcame the initial "hey, I didn't want that changed, put it back" phase, I have to say I really like the new design. Especially the overhang menu (the the vertical dots) is much better.

However, there are a few things, that could be improved, I believe.

Make the tabs list respect the URL bar top/bottom setting. That would be great for people like me, who regularly close all taps and usually have only 2-3.
The same goes for the tabs within the tabs list (private / synced buttons).
The buttons at the bottom of the tabs list (new tab and the vertical dots) feel visually unbalanced.

PS: please also note that I'm quite confused on what version I'm on now. The browser and the Playstore all say 147, but I have the changes mentioned in the 148 release notes. Is this one of the remote improvements mentioned by the release notes?

PPS: I would have attached a screenshot showing what I mean. However, when I do I get this error: "The attachment's screenshot.png content type (image/png) does not match its file extension and has been removed."
