That’s a thoughtful request. A targeted, site-specific solution seems much safer than a global change, as it avoids breaking widely used tools like value-for-money bottles while addressing the issue effectively.

I am reporting a major "Webcompat" conflict. Currently, Firefox users are experiencing "Network Errors" on ChatGPT due to a bug in the new Compression Dictionary Transport implementation.

While disabling network.http.dictionaries.enable via the Nimbus system fixes the ChatGPT streaming issue, it will cause a hard failure for Google Gemini. Gemini now relies on Shared Brotli/Zstandard dictionaries for its core workspace components. If this flag is flipped to False globally:

ChatGPT works again.

Gemini fails to load or decompress data entirely.

Request to Mozilla Devs: Please do not push a global False setting for this flag. Instead, consider a site-specific intervention (Intervention/Shim) for chatgpt.com or wait for a fix in the networking stack that handles the stream reset more gracefully. A global disable will essentially break one of the most used AI tools on the web for all Firefox users.
