I did update to latest version. Looks like it is just little better but in comparison to Chrome (browsing same website for same amount of time) it is still much worse. I will check it again later few more times.

I am using Firefox for Android for long time and in recent months I realized that while I use Firefox, my phone is a little bit hot. Not too hot to cause any serious concern, but still hot as it do something intensive. Normally it would not cause concern to me but it happens even with 2-3 tabs open and when I use Google Chrome I have no issues at all, even with more open tabs.

Is this known and common issue of Android version of Firefox or it is problem with my phone? Is there reliable method to check resource usage of apps?

For complete info, I have always latest version of Firefox installed form Play Store and latest Android from Samsung and phone is Samsung A56. And as I mentioned I have only few tabs open at any time.

I have the same issues. Eahc time that happens, my battery drains so fast .

I still don't know how to reproduce that. Having multiple tabs doesn't guarantee overheating, but it does increase the chance

For me, it happens al the time, but it does not drain battery in any drastic way. Little more than with Chrome but not too much.

There was a new update. I haven't had the problem since I get the update yesterday. Might have to look for a few days to make sure. Did you update to the latest version?

same problem here, i also keep getting blocked with a "too many requests" on most sites so im guessing its overheating because its constantly sending requests to the site i remember i had this problem a long time ago but i dont remember if i fixed or just straight up switched to chrome for a while
