The result is that I have the same profile running on each device and each device has the same access to the emails, folders, etc. That's what I want. (I can't run the profile concurrently on 2 devices, but I can manage that.)</P><P>The problem is that every time Thunderbird updates, it creates a new default profile. I then have to edit the profile.ini on each device to get back to having the NAS profile being the default profile on each device. It has taken me a while to figure this out and figure out what to do, and it often is needed at an inconvenient time.
