I'm experiencing the following issue: when my monitor automatically goes to sleep after 5 minutes (as I've set it), all audio playing in Firefox stops. Initially, I thought it was due to FxSound. I searched the FxSound forum and found this article (https://forum.fxsound.com/t/fxsound-stops-any-audio-playback-when-dp-monitor-goes-to-sleep/4962), which perfectly describes my problem. To verify, I tried playing music in Chrome and turning off the monitor, and surprisingly, the music continued playing. This means the problem is coming from within Firefox.

I'm using Windows 11 24H2 + Firefox 147.0.1 + FxSound 1.2.5.0 + nVidia 8.1.969.0 + Monitor connected via DP cable + Audio cable plugged into the motherboard's audio port.

I hope there's a solution, as I frequently use Firefox and don't want to open Chrome just to listen to music.
All contributions are welcome!

Just chiming in to say I've got virtually the exact same problem, but on windows 11 23H2. Interim solution seems to be to disable monitor off in power management, which is less than ideal.
