Select a different Google account for Gemini in AI Chatbot

It's not possible to switch Google accounts for Gemini in the AI Chatbot toolbar. When I select another Google account in the chatbox, the browser redirects to https://gemini.google.com, but the AI chatbot continues to use my default Gemini account.

I would like to use gemini in the sidebar chat with a different account than the "default" google account and/or an account sandboxed within a container.

It's a firefox issue because firefox doesn't allow for the sidebar chat to be containerised to use a different google account. BTW, It works for chatgpt but not for gemini.

I have the same problem...
I went to about:config and changed the value of the key browser.ml.chat.provider
to https://gemini.google.com/u/1/app
Of course, change the number (1) in the url to select the account you want to use.

It seems to work, even if I restart the browser.
If I switch to another provider using the drop-down menu, it no longer works and I have to repeat the operation.

Thank you! That works for me too. Although it would be better it was a proper sticky configuration option indeed.
