topic AI Features in Discussions

I was just offered to suggest additional tabs for tab groups and told I am able to customize AI features in settings. I have not found a way to customize AI. I would like to turn all the external features off and for some limited features i would like to use my local ollama instance.

It doesn't really seem like i can (easily) completely disable all the ai stuff? I don't want uncontrolled traffic leaving my device, I don't want any more goddamn chatbots (there are too many already), I get that AI is all the rage and I do in fact quite enjoy using my graphics card for local AI things, but dislike the idea of any program just ... deciding when it sends data to somewhere. I haven't found which ai endpoints Firefox uses in the config and that alone makes me suspicious.

Putting AI features into everything seems like something that mostly upper management enjoys, there are a few users that like it, but most reactions I see are of annoyance, so why do it?
