As a very long time Thunderbird user on MacOS, I once again noticed that when composing a message, and pasting in a table to that message, it works well EXCEPT that if the table is at the top of the message, I can't then add any text above the table. Am I missing a hidden way to select the space above the table? Or does it not exist? My request is to change the compose window so that there is ALWAYS a place to click above the current content.

Also, I don't see an easy way to select the entire table, so I can cut it out, type my text, then paste the table afterwards, which would be an OK workaround. Do others have this same problem?

Right now the work around I use is to abandon the composed message, start a new one, and carefully add some blank lines before pasting in the table, so there is a way to add context before it. Maybe I am unusual in composing my message in non-linear order? I suspect not, though.
