Firefox not working on some important sites

I have used Firefox forever but I have not had any trouble until recently with certain sites.

Specifically, it does not work with the US Government: Social Security and ID.me. Also, I cannot use the website builder Network solutions provides so I have been forced to use Chrome which works fine with all these sites.

I just thought you should know so you can test it yourself. Thank you for this great product.

Agreed, SirGrahame. Recently the number of sites with problems with Firefox include some airlines, retailers, etc. I find myself having to switch to Edge (I won't use Chrome) or, if it's possible, use the telephone. This makes me sad. People should be switching TO Firefox, not from.

Sites that do not work from Firefox for me (and do work fine from Chrome):

https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/ (login error)
https://www.meijer.com/ (cannot sign in, and/or no items actually show up, multi-state grocery chain)
https://www.bobevans.com/menu/farmhouse-feast/farmhouse-feast-turkey-4 (could not enter credit card number)
https://matheducators.stackexchange.com/ (site thinks I have messages, even after I've seen them)

I have used firefox for years. I am willing to help verify whether these have been fixed.

Who sees these comments? Are there people working fulltime at Mozilla who check for error reports here?

Add the IRS site https://www.freefilefillableforms.com

I got all of my forms filled out and ready to file, then got stuck in an id verification loop where it would either fail the verification code or log me out instead of filing. Filing with edge would also not work if I was still logged in with Firefox.

Add the forest service and https://clustermapping.us/. Often the first page might load if I get there via a google search, but as soon as I try a link, it comes crashing down.

add to site FF doesn't work -- travel.state.gov -- Can get into the site, but search on an entered Destination fails

Your HP Envy x360 laptop is not identifying any available Wi-Fi networks, as shown by the error message "No wireless networks in range (210)". There could be a number of causes for this, including the Wi-Fi adaptor malfunctioning or being in airplane mode. First, make sure your router has been restarted, that airplane mode is off, and that Wi-Fi is enabled. Update or reinstall the wireless network driver using Device Manager if the problem continues. Thanks for sharing your experience! I’ve had a few websites act up on Firefox lately too, so I totally get your frustration. I’ve been checking out the Simpciry website recently, especially their Latest travel tips section, and it loads perfectly fine there. Maybe the issue is more about how certain sites handle browser updates. Hopefully, Firefox fixes it soon, it’s still one of the best browsers out there. I really hope they look into this because many people still prefer using Firefox daily. It would be great if all websites, including government ones, worked smoothly again.
