Please restore side-scrolling shortcuts on new tab page in Firefox for Android thank you

New version 144.0 just arrived and a bad surprise for me. I'm often using the shortcuts in the start page, but these are limited now to the first 8 icons and can not be scrolled. To see the others I need to click on Show All. This seems to me as a very bad update Up through Firefox Android 143 Shortcuts on the new tab page could be quickly side-scrolled, but that appears to be removed in 144, which I find significantly more clumsy.
Please restore the prior behavior, at least and I hope it will be corrected Thank you. (Sorry for the black lines in the image) and copy and paste is broken
