After upgrading to v115.29esr (for W7), firefox fills the memory up to the hilt, slowing down my PC.

v11528 was OK.. How can I choose that version until the next (hopefully better) version?

I managed to downgrade then slowly upgrade to v115.12, but the next suggested version is 115.29, which hives me problems.

Thanks in advance!

Bojan

Thank you, it seems all is back to normal now.

I hope this issue (memory usage) will be sorted out in the next version. However, I have one desktop computer with w'10, the plan is to use it for browsing in the future.

Yes, it is OK now, doesn't crash any more and uses only 1/2 of resources on my desktop (before memory was used 100%)

Ok thank you

Curious though. If the update is exactly the same one then how can it fix itself "all of a sudden out of the blue"like that?

Thanks again. 🙂

LOL ok. I thought you were saying 15.29 was suddenly ok lol.

I downgraded to 115.28 and only had one memory error so far.

Thank you for your time.

I hope they fix this soon. I don't want to change browsers after a couple of decades with Mozilla. Heck I even started with Netscape. Anyone remember that one?

LOL. 😋😂🤣🙂

Firefox 115.29esr may encounter a compatibility issue with the Doraemon X latest version theme. Users report UI glitches, delayed response times, and occasional crashes when switching tabs. This potential bug affects overall stability and smooth functionality of the browser.
