Firefox update 144.0 - not working

Updated to issue 144 this morning - and now very little works at all on Firefox (this being posted through Chrome). Anyone else got similar problems? Or know how to fix it?

The trouble shooting suggestions I can find searching in Chrome will not function on Firefox at present - can't even get the menu up.

Same problem for me with this version 144... My toolbar remains in English even after setting the language (French)???

I can't even do a basic URL "paste and go" in Firefox 144 at present, so although I can see WhatsNew in Chrome, it doesn't help get Firefox moving again. I can open existing bookmarks OK, but not links from other sources, eg email, and the menus don't work - not troubleshooting either - totally f'ed.

I have been using seven different profiles over the last few years as well as the profile management possibilities built into Firefox. Worked spendidly. After the update to 144 at least two of these profiles were destroyed. (I do not dare to open the others, fearing that the same will happen there.) That is, launching Firefox into these led to Firefox freezing in the middle of the launch. Clicking on one of the windows finally opened that window, however with only one, empty tab. All other tabs and windows in that profile are gone. Also all extensions were gone. Creating a new, empty profile, it turns out that synchronization of extensions also has stopped. Tpo restore these profiles will take me many, many hours of extra work .

Same here. Downgrading to 143.0 and launching via "firefox -P profile_name --allow-downgrade" fixed it. 144 is bugged.

Same problem for me this morning. All extensions were disabled, profile was disconnected and menu remains in english (instead of French)

One gripe I have is that zooming into a map enlarges the whole page, i.e. the Firefox increases the page zoom. Take any site with a map on the page. If I do the pinch action with two fingers on the map to zoom in/out, Firefox alters the page zoom to 110%, 125%, etc or down 90%, 80%, etc. Distracting and completely unnecessary. The earlier versions of FF used to work all good.
