All the things that are holding me back from fully using and supporting Thunderbird

Hi,
I'm using a bit Thunderbird, but there are a lot of small issues so I wanted to give an overall feedback. My opinion is that ‘if all these features are done, maybe Thunderbird can become really used’. I'm just being objective, it's not to criticize, the project is already very accomplished!

On threads, we can't sort the messages by latest received (so a thread with like 70 messages, you need to scroll each time to the bottom)
Globally, the interface is well furnished, but perhaps a little too much. There are so many details :
- Avoid "<>" that wrap the emails
  * And maybe add an option to hide the email on cards
- Unread messages aren't enough highlighted (visually) Only adding "bold and a green dot" is best suited for a simpler interface.
Missing an option to pin messages to the top, would be a really useful feature.
Hard to find (without searching on the web or else) to define for the first time our signature and other specific email settings. Need to find out it's on the bottom of the settings vertical navbar.
Another missing behaviour and the utmost important : sync between devices. Like I can't imagine fully using Thunderbird without this. Imagine this situation: I begin really using Thunderbird, I will not take 10h to fully configure, but I already have 3-4 devices and I will install it on all. So I will configure on the fly some settings a little by little. The fact that I will have to "manually sync" my changes is just ... no

In fact, there are quite a few cool features in the application once you've been using it for a long time. I'm not at that stage yet, but it lacks the features that will help you to quickly familiarise yourself with the application.

Same issue, it's not "easy"/fast to edit and don't have time to edit the changes for every devices I have

The <> around an address is used as a separator between the official email address and a regular name. For example, an address might appear as "Smitty" <Charles.Smith@there.com>. I guess it's for ease in parsing addresses, and I don't know if new software reliably does that without the arrow brackets and quotes.
