Text formatting in gmail within Firefox (& two other annoyances that were better in Chrome)

I've recently switched from Chrome to Firefox and generally am happier but there are 3 problems:

1. select text in gmail; go to the gmail text color button; the selection is lost

2. choose a file on a site to download; it defaults to the c: drive and doesn't give you a chance to specificy your desired destination

3. go to whitehouse.gov to fill in the contact form to complain about Merrick Garland protecting Trump - the autofill is very poor - you have to go field by field - with Chrome it fills in the whole form

Other than those, I prefer Firefox.

At least for 2. I can suggest you to check if you set Firefox to always ask you where to download files, for other 2 instead I'm not sure 🤔.
