So I submitted an idea/suggestion for bringing back the option for slimmer, more minimalist tabs yesterday.

Today, I've found that the idea/suggestion has been deleted - without any notification, transparent reason or comment.

The only way to know that the idea was suppressed is to save the link to the idea and check it later on. That's how I know.

How is this not regulated better?

Why can mods just make ideas "disappear" without even giving a proper reason or at least notifying the user? That's arbitrary!

Hey @AllahuSnackbar,

Ideas can sometimes take a few days to be approved. But I just checked the moderation queue and you're right, your idea is not showing up. So I tested it, and it seems there is currently a bug in the Ideas section of Connect. We're looking into it and will try to get it resolved right away. I'll follow up here as soon as we know more.

Thanks for the heads up!

I get where you’re coming from—having posts disappear without any explanation feels frustrating and discouraging, especially when it’s just a suggestion for usability. Ideally, there should be at least a short note or automated message clarifying why something was removed (duplicate, off-topic, already filed bug, etc.). You might want to check the site’s community guidelines or reach out to a moderator directly to ask for clarification—sometimes removals are tied to existing feature requests already being tracked elsewhere. Transparency would definitely help avoid confusion and keep discussions more constructive.
