topic Blinking Picture in Picture icon in Discussions

When mousing around video sites, e.g. YouTube, the Picture in Picture icon keeps blinking on the right end of the address bar. I don't see why that feature should demand such attention when it seems like a pretty useless feature for the majority. Maybe a few people want to break out the video and leave a gaping hole in the web page. As I move the mouse around over video choices that icon is always blinking. Very annoying.
