      <description>&lt;P&gt;In ThunderBird 140.2.0esr (on Windows platform), the attachment save (without opening the attachment) in a mail does not work. It does not give any error message. But when you check the target folder, the attachment is not found there.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I checked with pdf attachments. It works only when you double click and open the attachment and then save it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kindly check and rectify the issue urgently.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am not renaming the file before saving The name should remain the same for work reason.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No I did not try the Troubleshoot mode. Anyway the previous release of Thunderbird did not have this problem&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Removing McAfee did the trick. It came pre-installed with a new laptop and apparently, it prevented Thunderbird from saving attachments without giving a warning.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
