Forcing users to swallow raw oatmeal isn't the best idea.
They haven't learned anything from the history of Netscape.
If I want a browser with a sidebar, I'll go to Opera.

You can disable it:

Type about:config in the address bar > press Enter

- click 'Accept the risk and continue'

- search for sidebar.revamp > change the value to false
