I'm not sure when this change happened; I only noticed last week.

On at least one forum website, Firefox used to display unicode flag emojis that I have in my user profile. Now it only displays the country code, for instance "GB" instead of the British flag anywhere on that website. In other websites the flags still display, so I'm not sure if it's a change to Firefox that's stopped it working, or this website, or both (most likely I think since it works in the older Firefox version):

https://community.secondlife.com/forums

I installed an older FF version (124.0.1) and it went back to displaying the flags; update to the latest and I lose the flags again.

I know the issue is Microsoft's doing with those flag emojis and Firefox provided its own. Clearly that's no longer working, at least in some places

You could report it as a possible bug (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi/).
