Fix Needed: #Thunderbird Unsubscribes Folders When Renaming & Changing Folders

I have an ongoing issue with #Thunderbird when making changes to folders. When I make changes to my folder such as renaming and moving them, Thunderbird unsubscribes me from nearly my entire list of folders. I then have to right-click that account, select Subscribe, and go through and check all of the unsubscribed folders all over again.

This is a very annoying and time-consuming issue. Please fix this!

Hi franzschneider, I have the same problem. I'm on 128.0.1 but it was happening on earlier versions too. Did find a fix, or did you submit a bug report? Kevin.

I too have a very similar issue using Tbird 137.0.2 (aarch64) with IMAP on an iCloud email address with an app specific password.

The ability to select the unsubscribed folders and mark them all as subscribed is NON EXISTENT. I have over 200 sub folders and multiple filters as a result but even though I use IMAP some folders are not shown and must be individually selected and subscribed to. And then if you subscribe it sometimes does not seem to remember the fact that a particular folder is subscribed and marks it as not subscribed!!

The subscribed folders listing might show a child folder as subscribed but not the parent??

Please Mozilla investigate and repair.
