A serious problem afaict. It's many more than just these two locations, but these are easy for others to find and verify. Check for yourself!

Using Settings / Colors / Manage Color / For all choices, all combinations of "Use System Colors" and "Override the colors specified", one or the other of the two situations in the Title gives the wrong colors.

a) I cannot use my own colors for Visited Links in Google Search results, OR b) In a left panel of Google Maps, after clicking on a business or tourist spot, etc, in the Reviews, all 5 stars are always black

WRT "a" the web-page's default color, violet, is barely different from the color for unvisited links. To use my colors, i need to check Override, and, depending on the computer, Always or High Contrast,

WRT "b", some of the stars should be yellow and the rest should just be grey None should be black. To get yellow, I need to Uncheck Override, and use High Contrast or Never. Override cannot be checked and unchecked at the same time.

Same problem found in current and all recent versions of FF, win10 and win11.

What should I do? Does this work properly for anyone else? Is there an about: config setting that will correct this?
