Email unable to render 137b03 64-bit

I received a newsletter from TLDR, I clicked on it to view it. However, the content is not displayed in the email pane and the header info is that of the previous email that was selected.

This message was logged in the error console "06:56:12.169 This page is in Quirks Mode. Page layout may be impacted. For Standards Mode use “< ! DOCTYPE html > ”. (added spaces to allow the content to be posted here)

As you can see, the newsletter has been selected in the threads pane, but nothing is shown in the message pane. Also, the To:, From:, and Subject from the previously selected email are still displayed.

If I select View > Headers > All. Then the message is displayed properly. This forces a re-read perhaps?
