Welcome to another Weekly Recap here in the Mozilla Connect community!

We're a couple days late (sorry!), but this post will highlight the top 10 most-voted ideas for the previous week (2/21-2/28). While some are ‘new ideas’ and others are already ‘in review’ (learn more about The Idea Journey here), we encourage you to continue voting and add any input that supports your favorite ideas—the more details, the better.

I’m uncomfortable pressuring Mozilla during a time of financial difficulty, but I have an idea.

How about
1. explaining in detail what user data will be shared with third parties and publishing the content of the agreements with third parties? This is something that users have a right to, according to you, and this is something you have never done.
2. making it an option that can be turned on or off
whether user data will be used to train AI
or to share with third parties?
Enabling the option would mean accepting the new TOU, not enabling it means the old TOU is in effect. And wouldn’t the option be turned on by default?

You often show a new tab after an update asking me to install Firefox on an iPhone, even though Firefox doesn’t block ads on an iPhone.

Also create a new tab with the following content:

* Marketing slang about new Firefox features, which, of course, are made to completely preserve anonymity and give the user control, and not at all to sell or transfer user data to anyone.

checkbox 1: Allow Mozilla to use my data to train AI;

checkbox 2: Allow Mozilla to transfer or sell my anonymized data to partners, provided that Mozilla's agreement with the partner to whom my data is transferred or sold will be sent to my email each time;

checkbox 3: Allow Mozilla to receive all content that I send through Firefox and use it at its own discretion.

All options are disabled by default, and if the user closes the window, this will mean refusing to use the new options.
