But why we need to do something like:

Set "gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.force_gdi_classic_for_families" to "Arial,Consolas,Courier New,Microsoft Sans Serif,Segoe UI,Tahoma,Trebuchet MS,Verdana" and "gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.force_gdi_classic_max_size" to 15.

When many people are complaining about it on different forums and everything looked fine before?

What happens if we don't add "Consolas" or "Segoe UI" in "gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.force_gdi_classic_for_families"?

Why there are 8 fonts and not 10 for example?

I mean, what is the real motivation?

Multiple menu texts, tab headings, and website texts now look murky. I didn't change any settings. My font type and size has always been set to default.

The fix shouldn't be about me changing the font or the size of the font. Something inherent changed in the browser.

The font Arial seems to be especially affected. For example the tab headings and the English Wiktionary looked crisp now it slightly darkly mushy.

If this gets changed back I'm grateful, if not, I still want to thank this wonderful project and its contributors.

Text UI rendering is more than just a feature; it is an integral part of how we interact with web content. The clarity, readability, and overall aesthetic of text directly impact our browsing experience, accessibility, and even productivity. Over the years, Firefox has struck an excellent balance, delivering crisp and clear text rendering that users have come to trust and love.

Mozilla please don't change the UI text rendering, it looks tiny, blurry, messy and has lost all its contrast.

I love Firefox but I don't understand this change. Some texts became very small and hard to read, other texts became blurry (both hard to read and causes eye strain) and made me wonder if my ClearType settings had been corrupted or something.

The fix posted on the reddit link works and reverts things back to how it was before.
