Thunderbird Nightly v. 136.0a1 (2025-01-24) - Alert sound not playing; icons not appearing in task bar

For a couple of builds for the desktop version, when new messages arrive the alert sound does not play nor does the icon with badges indicating new email appear in my task bar.

I am hearing the alert sound via my Android app but nothing from my desktop version.

I have not made any changes to my desktop settings and things seem to be working as they should when I test from within the settings windows. But nothing is happening when new messages arrive in my inbox.

Updated to 136.0a1 (2025-01-26) (64-bit) and the problem still persists. Really annoying.

The problem persists in the latest Nightly build 136.0a1 (2025-01-27) (64-bit). Is anyone paying attention? Am I the only user having this issue?

This problem is now in the latest Beta version of 136. And it persists in the Nightly version 137.0a1 (2025-02-07) (64-bit)

As far as i'm concerned, under bêta currently 136.0b2 https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/136.0beta/releasenotes, according to my tests, at first glance it's resolved
