When NSIS installs a new version (at least daily for Nightly) under Windows 11, it uses the system TEMP or TMP environment variables, at least on my PC it does. It shouldn't, because Microsoft reserves those files for system use. It should use the user TEMP or TMP environment variables.

Hi,

TEMP is short for temporary. That means you shouldn't put stuff in there that you expect to last longer than a single session. If you want something to persist, then put it in a Firefox/Nightly folder. I emptied my %TEMP% folder, and Nightly whinges about a missing NSIS folder every time I start it.

Hi,

Attached is a screen dump of the error, which happens with every new release of Nightly.
