I accepted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I received email from Microsoft after registering Thunderbird with Microsoft with this link to account:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://account.live.com/consent/Manage?fn=email" target="_blank"&gt;https://account.live.com/consent/Manage?fn=email&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Message:&lt;BR /&gt;Microsoft account team &amp;lt;account-security-noreply@mail.msa.msidentity.com&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Microsoft account&lt;BR /&gt;New app(s) have access to your data&lt;BR /&gt;Thunderbird connected to the Microsoft account ****@live.com.&lt;BR /&gt;If you didn't grant this access, please remove the app(s) from your account.&lt;BR /&gt;Manage your apps&lt;BR /&gt;You can also opt out or change where you receive security notifications.&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;The Microsoft account team&lt;BR /&gt;Privacy Statement&lt;BR /&gt;Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can change these permissions at &lt;A href="https://microsoft.com/consent" target="_blank"&gt;https://microsoft.com/consent&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;-- I see Apps and services you've given access&lt;BR /&gt;Previously A screen poped up and I gave permission for Thunderbird to share emails - as above&lt;BR /&gt;Thunderbird was running and set to automatically login.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
