<title>topic Honey extension accused of fraud in Discussions</title>
    <link>https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/discussions/honey-extension-accused-of-fraud/m-p/81810#M31300</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all, I'm very concerned with the Honey extension on Firefox because of Honey's/Paypal's (owner of Honey) business practices. I have sometimes used affiliate links from influencers I follow in order to give them some commission, but apparently when I interact with Honey before purchasing, they take the commission (even if no coupon codes were applied). This is deceptive marketing, bordering on fraud, and as such I do not think it fits the ethos of Mozilla and Firefox in particular. Could this matter be investigated further and the extension be considered for removal? I have reported this separately using the "report extension" tool, but I think this deserves wider discussion. See "MegaLag"'s recent YouTube video that brought this to light recently.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
