Folks - 18-year+ Thunderbird user... We have a problem where the sent folder is empty. The email client we've linked is an old verizon.net email account which is now hosted on AOL. I've looked at other posts in which people have said to check the "place a copy in" settings in the copies & folders tab. I've done all that but the sent folder remains empty.

The "sent" folder contents reappear when I run T'Bird in the troubleshoot mode. But, the second I go out of "troubleshoot" mode, the problem returns. The only extension I have is the profile switcher.

We have several other verizon.net email accounts linked to T'Bird. This problem does not appear in any of them.

I'm tempted to simply delete this one profile and start over again. But, my wife extensively uses the local folders for her filing system and I don't want to risk losing them.

I'm baffled and can use all the help I can get.

Thanks!
