    <description>&lt;P&gt;When I try to download the Android Studio installer for Windows from the official website - &lt;A href="https://developer.android.com/studio" target="_blank"&gt;https://developer.android.com/studio&lt;/A&gt; - Firefox changes the file extension from .exe to .com.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;e.g. &lt;A href="https://redirector.gvt1.com/edgedl/android/studio/install/2024.2.1.10/android-studio-2024.2.1.10-windows.exe" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://redirector.gvt1.com/edgedl/android/studio/install/2024.2.1.10/android-studio-2024.2.1.10-windows.exe&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tested the same link in Chrome and wget - they download it with .exe extension as expected.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it a new security feature of Firefox or a bug?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Firefox version: 131.0.3&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;OS: Ubuntu 22.04&lt;/P&gt;</description>
