Did you tried creating a new profile? browsing with no extensions and default settings can give you an idea of what is causing the performance issues.

Firefox is EXTREMELY slow after last 2 updates. Rendering relatively useless.

I have had to reluctantly switch to Edge.

Firefox has been my 'goto' for years, please fix.

I have done everything but a complete refresh/reinstall (including troubleshoot mode), i don't want to lose my extensions, they are critical to my sessions.

Totally agree - the last updates caused severe slow-downs in identifying URLs and loading them - unacceptual time needed. This is a wakeup-call for the devs! Looking for alternatives. Anything to do with macOS recent updates? Working with MacMini 2018 6-core i7 3,2 - 4,6 GHz 32 GB Main, 512 GB internal Apple SSD. There is always appr. 16 GB free main memory available and CPU-usage down to less than 40 %!

Same here. No good for developing Wordpress anymore. Had to switch to Edge (reluctantly) even though their developer tools are not so good.

I run a couple of websites with MANY links. I used to be able to use a multiple url opener to make sure the links were still valid and had no trouble. Now Firefox won't close as I close the urls, and I have to go to Task Manager and manually close them before starting the next batch. Using bing I can literally go through 3x as many in the same time it takes Firefox just to open them. I don't know what happened to Firefox, but I'm getting tired of it VERY FAST.

Remains Extremely slow for the past 2 or 3 versions. Feels like late 80's 14.4 baud modem. MS edge works fine.
