Firefox 131 on Mac Mini, Sequoia 15.0.1. Every time I start Firefox it checks for updates and the bookmarks bar is greyed out - left-clicking a link won't open a page, I have to right-click and use open in new tab I then have to restart FF to get a usable browser - Now switching back to Chrome / Safari until this gets sorted.

Maybe check the Firefox ESR version, is a more stable version of Firefox that have less updates (only security). So it's more unlikely that anything breaks.

Tried the esr - still no good. FF checks for updates every time I open it and bm bar greyed out and no left click.

Totally had it with FF both normal and esr versions, still same fault, across 2 different Apple Macs. Opening FF the BM bar is greyed out and can't click anything - FF is updating - this happens everytime I start FF. Tried all the possible solutions I can find on the web. Now using Chrome & Safari. (Sequoia 15.0.1)

Finally, 132 seems to have fixed the problem.
