Hi,

Thank you for bringing that up - I am a Product Manager on the Performance Team. We currently are using Speedometer 3.0 as the benchmark. Have you tried running Speedometer 3.0 on both Firefox and nightly?

I don't know why, but when I run the Speedometer 2.0 test on my computer, the nightly version of Firefox gets 130 points while the default version gets 85 points. The default version could be much faster.

In my opinion, the most important thing for Mozilla Firefox right now is the speed of loading and processing pages, both for the mobile version and for the desktop. It needs to be faster than chrome, edge, safari, opera, vivaldi, etc., and not by 1-2%, but by 20+%. Other features are also needed, but at that moment, you need to win all those tests.
