      <description>&lt;P&gt;There are a lot of New ideas with hundreds of kudos and comments after 2 to 3 years but they haven't been promoted to Trending idea.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On the other hand, there are Trending ideas with less than 10 kudos and just a few months old.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When would worthwhile New ideas be promoted?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I think it's pretty obvious that things are promoted/implemented based on whether Mozilla wants the feature rather than what users want.&amp;nbsp; They are also more likely to do things that are easy than difficult with the resources they have.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To be fair people on here are only a tiny fraction of the total usership, and most probably an atypical one at that.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
