Firefox 129 Windows Desktop Search Toolbar - I can't use it as I used to do

I don't use the address bar to do searches.

I use the search bar, click on the icon of the search engine of my choice and open the page of that search engine.

No more, now it is mandatory to do the search from the small window of the search bar. Is anyone monitoring the searches?

The Search Toolbar change has forced me to add the address of each of the search engines I use to my address book to open the page of the search engine of my choice.

Works fine on my FF 129 desktop.

Go to SETTINGS, down to click on SEARCH then scroll down to "Search Shortcuts" and add the search engines you want.
