Firefox History function is simply dysfunctional

Firefox's History function is broken:

- It does not store all the websites that I visited

- It does not display them in a way that makes them easy to browse

- It gets into a mess when you revisit old websites in order to find the one you are looking for

Honestly, I have a vague feeling that FF's History was better around 10 years ago but maybe I'm wrong. I am definitely not the only one having trouble with the History function. My main gripe is that it simply does not store websites that I clearly remember visiting. Why, just why?
