    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hmm, I wonder if they used a symbol font instead of just the same font used for the other characters? This could occur if text is copied from Microsoft Word and no one checks cross-browser compatibility.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it's this one, maybe they changed it because I don't see it: &lt;A href="https://www.nytimes.com/crosswords/game/daily/2024/03/13" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.nytimes.com/crosswords/game/daily/2024/03/13&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Doing the New York Times crossword this morning I realized that what was intended to be the # sign was being rendered as a square&amp;nbsp; symbol ☐&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Safari did not have that problem.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
