Win10 Thunderbird's taskbar icon show blank page icon

Hello,

I'm running Windows10, and have been using Mozilla's Thunderbird for a long, long time.

This is the first time I'm experiencing this:
I've got Thunderbird pinned to the taskbar, and its icon shows as a blank doc icon.
If I unpin it from the taskbar (as I've got Thunderbird running), the icon changes to the correct blue icon.
As I shut/exit Thunderbird APP, the blue icon goes away (this is the correct/expected behavior).

This is happening only for the Thunderbird APP.

I'm experiencing this after updating to 115.3.1 (64-bit)

I had the same problem, the fix was to reinstall the latest version. (64bit msi)

The cause was a msi 64bit thunderbird, installed in the x86 program files, I guess it got mixed with the directory looking for an icon in the non x86 program files which didn't have a thunderbird.

I then removed the x86 program file located version.

I have the same problem. If I reinstall, would the existing 3 account settings have to be setup from scratch?
