New UI you may be proud of, but (a) it wasn't broken and (b) new design moves controls for no good reason except to befuddle long term users.

Space is wasted.

Icon for "replied" is almost invisible

Medium Density give message list LESS dense than before. But so far I HATE the High Density

Oh, and you've broken Ctrl+Shift+K to search messages. Congratulations.

It gets better. Now when I delete a message you put the focus on the top message in the list, making me lose my place.

Did anyone do usability testing??

I agree, the new UI is absolutely horrible.
