I find it very annoying to have to go to my settings every time to click on save passwords. This has definitely become a "con" for Firefox where it used to be a "pro"

What are you trying to do once you get to the list of saved passwords?

Are you trying to view a password, view the list of which sites have saved passwords, copy passwords from there, etc?

What OP probably means: if I want to see the logins for the current site, there seems to be no way except by going into Passwords menu and searching manually for the current site.

This seems like an oversight. The login details for the current site should be reachable from the URL bar.
